Despite the beautiful location, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent throughout the premises, making it tough to stay connected. The plumbing in some of the rooms is unreliable. one flooded frequently and had electrical issues that took ages to resolve. Be prepared for a long wait for food. some meals took over an hour to arrive, and the menu lacked variety, especially for lunch and dinner. The beach disappears at low tide, limiting swim opportunities and creating a very different vibe from expected. You may find yourself needing to travel significant distances just to enjoy other local attractions.

The Wi-Fi situation proved problematic, with slow connection and intermittent outages. Multiple rooms experienced issues with noisy disturbances from maintenance activities during early mornings, and the beach area wasn’t ideal—crumbling loungers, a road dividing the space, and unfriendly cows wandering by added to the unusual experience. Meals took unusually long to arrive despite the small menu, and while decent, the food didn’t justify the markup in price.

Staying at Nest Style Beach Hotel was quite an adventure. The hotel sits right on the beach, and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. Enjoying drinks while watching the waves was a highlight of my evenings. The staff always greeted me with smiles, and they were eager to assist with any requests. The food was delicious, especially the local dishes that really gave a taste of Zanzibar. My room was spacious, with a lovely view of the sea, though I did notice that the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow and spotty throughout my stay. The housekeeping seemed a bit inconsistent. I had to remind them a couple of times for fresh towels. Despite these issues, the tranquility of the location made it easy to relax and recharge. I took advantage of the kayaks available , which was a fun way to explore the coastline.

Stunning beach vibes in Zanzibar! 🌊✨
The beach is just pure magic! Waking up to those views and sunsets was a dream. Plus, the food was lekker—lots of variety, especially those seafood salads, yum! Staff were super friendly too, felt like I was chilling with mates the whole time. Really enjoyed the vibes!

This wasn’t what I expected – Good or Bad?
The hotel is a hidden gem with beautiful views and scrumptious food. The staff, especially Mario, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was fantastic. Highly recommend spending lazy days under coconut trees!
Unfortunately, the beach has limited swimming opportunities during low tide, and the tranquility can be interrupted by the nearby bar's music. Do be prepared for some travel if you seek more activities outside the hotel!

Perfect beach getaway!
Had a fantastic time chilling by the beach. The staff were super welcoming and even made personalized fruit smoothies for us! Our room was spacious and comfy. The outdoor dining area had great views. Just be aware the beach can be tough to swim in during low tide, so keep that in mind for your plans.

Great choice for a relaxing getaway
The staff were always around with warm smiles, like one morning during breakfast, they even made us fresh pancakes on request. And oh, the sunsets by the beach while sipping on Ali's fruit smoothies? Lovely.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but you know what they say, quality comes at a price.

Just a nice choice for a hurried visit in Makunduchi, great for the money. I really enjoyed exploring the low tide rock pools with my partner. it was a unique experience. Bring water shoes for the rocky areas, it'll make it easier to wander around.

I absolutely loved the various food options and the fantastic swimming pool that let us chill out. Unwinding with a massage and enjoying the beach access made our stay even more enjoyable. My only nitpick was that the room could have used a few more amenities to make it feel more complete. 😊
